Spring Orientation

Spring Orientation will be on Saturday, January 9th, 2021.

Registration will open in November!

 Orientation Session Selection

To register for Spring Orientation, log in to your MyClarion Portal and select Student Center, then scroll to the bottom where you will find Orientation Selection under the Admissions Tab, then select Session 6 (Spring Orientation 2021). Don`t forget to let us know how many guests you will be bringing and if anyone in your family has mobility issues. You will receive a confirmation email immediately following your completed online registration to your Clarion University email account.  

 Placement Testing for First Time in College Students

All first time in college students are required to take two placement tests in order to have their schedule created. These placements are:

Please click here for the directions for completing these items. In order for your schedule to be built, you must complete all of these items as soon as possible. If you are attending Spring Orientation, you will definitely want to have these completed early so you are able to discuss your schedule with an adviser while you are on campus.

Placement Testing for Transfer Students

Students transferring into Clarion University with fewer than 30 credits may be required to take a math and English placement survey, as well as our inquiry seminar survey in order to have their schedule created. The placement surveys are:

If you are attending Spring Orientation, you will want to have these completed early so you are able to discuss your schedule with an adviser while you are on campus.

Students who successfully transfer the appropriate Math and English to Clarion for their chosen major are not required to take the placement surveys.  Students transferring in a Mathematics course, other than the exact requirement for their academic program, are encouraged to contact their academic adviser regarding required Mathematics courses, and placement level. All transfer students who have fewer than 30 credits must still take the inquiry seminar survey.
