Clarion Online is a leader in online learning in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and continues to be recognized.
2020 US News and World Report ranked Clarion University of Pennsylvania in the top 100: Best Online Bachelor's Programs (39th), Best Online Nursing Graduate Programs (31st), Best Online Graduate Education (78th), Best Business Graduate -non MBA (87th).Per the fall 2020 census, the completely online program headcount is 1,405 which equates to 31.5 percent of the overall headcount at the university. Clarion Online offer six associate degrees, 10 bachelor's degrees, nine master's degrees, several certificate/endorsement programs, and the doctor of nursing practice (DNP) completely online. In addition, 3,575 students took at least one online course per 2020 census reporting.
But, it's not about the numbers, it's about the people. Clarion University's online programs provide opportunities to non-traditional adult learners, place bound, veterans, working or other students who need the kind of flexible schedules that online learning provides.
