Health, Fitness and Wellness

The Clarion University Center for Wellness promotes your holistic well-being and enhances the university experience by providing:

  • health and counseling services
  • case management services
  • preventative education
  • recreational and co-curricular programs

The health promotions office supports the overall wellness model by delivering health and wellness knowledge to you via programs, fitness activities and other events on campus all year round.

The university's Keeling Health Center provides regular clinic hours and services so you can maintain your best physical health each semester. The clinic is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and offers routine visits and screenings.

The university also offers counseling services to keep you in your best mental health. There are counseling opportunities on each campus including aid that is available to online students.

To be in your best physical shape, check out our Student Recreation Center where you can lift weights, use exercise equipment and the climbing wall, participate in fitness classes or be part of an intramural or club sports team. In 2016, the recreation center will continue to grow with the addition of a 3,000-square-foot pool with a 2,100-square-foot open-deck area.

In addition to your recreational pursuits, become Clarion's biggest sports fan by rooting for one of our many intercollegiate athletic teams. There are six men's teams (baseball, basketball, football, golf, swimming & diving and wrestling) and nine women's teams (basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field and volleyball).
