Three things I love about Clarion:
1. Sorority. I always knew I was interested in a sorority ever since I was little. After watching my mother participate in things religiously with all of her sisters after so many years, I knew I just had to be a part of Greek Life one day. I finally joined my sorority in the fall of sophomore year, and I couldn't think of any reason why I had waited so long. I met so many amazing and thoughtful girls who I instantly fell in love with. I wouldn't know what to do without them. Most people say sorority girls are "just paying for their friends", but I like to say I don't pay enough. No matter what goes on in my life, I know I can always count on my sisters for anything.
2. Apartment. My freshman year I chose to live in the dorms. That was a great experience that pushed me to get to know all of the friends that I have now. As a sophomore, I decided that I wanted to live in Reinhard Villages. I now have a beautiful apartment that I share with some of my best friends. Having my own bathroom and laundry facility at hand is such a luxury coming from the dorm life my freshman year. Another plus is the enormous closet space! What girl doesn't need more closet space?
3. Job. Every college student needs some extra money to help with college expenses, but I get to have the best "job" on campus. I work in the Clarion Admissions Office with some of the most hard working people. Nobody quite understands the "behind the scenes" work that goes on in the admissions office, but I do. From filing student applications, to going on tours, working at open houses, and traveling miles and miles away from Clarion to spread the word about how truly wonderful this campus is; these are only a few of the things I get to witness every time I step into work.
