The Somerset site of Clarion University offers the two-year associate of science in nursing which fully prepares students to sit for the RN licensure exam. The program is housed in the Somerset County Education Center in Founders Hall at 6022 Glades Pike, Somerset, Pa. This location showcases a state-of-the-art simulation lab and students can benefit from a number of scholarship available through Somerset County Foundation for higher education.
If you're an allied health or nursing student, our Pittsburgh site, which is affiliated with and located in West Penn Hospital School of Nursing (WPHSON), might be right for you. This location offers 30 college level credits in courses required in West Penn's School of Nursing two-year Diploma Program. While you are working toward your diploma in nursing, you will have an opportunity to concurrently earn an Associate of Science Degree in Allied Health or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Clarion University by completing your general education coursework. Additionally, the general education courses can be taken by students outside these field areas and transferred to other degrees.
