Navigation Note - Word files must first be downloaded to a PC
before they can be written on. The PDF files can be printed from
the web and then completed by hand. If you are having difficulty
printing the Word document in an aligned form, try this - (1) download
the Word file to your PC, (2) open the file on your PC, (3) type in your
information, (4) print the document from your PC.
Cooperating Teachers
The following information is provided to
help you work with field experience students at either the methods/block
or student teaching level. If you have any questions or concerns,

Act 48 Credit:
Clarion University has
developed an online course for student teacher supervision which is
available via BlackBoard. To access the "The Sequel: Student Teacher Supervision"
Course, please follow these directions:

Go to the Clarion University
website at
http://www.clarion.edu/.

Move your mouse to “Web
Tools” then click on “Blackboard”.

To login, please use the
username guest_supervisor and the password teacher.
-
Then click on “Organizations”
at the top of the page.
-
Once into the course board,
please click on “The Sequel: Student Teacher Supervision”.

From this point follow the
directions, first to the course information and then to the course
documents.
This
course provides 12 hours of Act 48 credit. To receive the credit,
please follow the directions on the response sheet. Once completed,
either fax (814-393-2426) or email the response sheet to Dr. Donna
Patterson (dpatterson@clarion.edu).
Upon receipt, the 12 hours for Act 48 credit will be approved. You
will then be provided with further instruction via email. If you have
problems, please email Donna at
dpatterson@clarion.edu.

Student Teacher Attendance and Grade Form
(Word) (PDF): This is the form
to be used for the final grade report at the end of the student teacher’s
placement.
Student Teaching Performance
Profile: These evaluation forms, one for each major, are used to
define the student teacher’s progress throughout the placement. It is
often helpful to print one out and use it periodically to show the student
teacher strengths and weaknesses and to document progress or the lack of
progress if necessary.
The document
can be printed (below) and completed by hand as needed:
STPP Online Evaluation: This web
is used to collect data on our student teachers for various reporting
requirements. You are asked to complete this
form at the end of each student teacher placement. To do so, please follow
these directions:

Go to the Clarion University website at
www.clarion.edu .

Type in the STPP Online address,
http://www.clarion.edu/edu-humn/stpp/default.asp .

At this log in, type the username, Co_Teacher, and the
password, teacher.

Click the Logon button.

The list of STPP forms will appear on the screen.
Click on the form that represents your student teacher's major.
Please note: The secondary Science form is to be used for all science
majors. The Modern Language form is to be used for all languages.

Complete the form by typing in and clicking the
appropriate sections.

Review your information to make sure it is what you wish
to submit.

When you are finished, click the "Submit Data" button at
the bottom of the page.
