Graduates of the Associate of Science Rehabilitative Services program may be employed in a variety of roles. Possible careers include:
- life skills worker
- life coach
- classroom development assistant
- human development assistant
They also might work in fields that deal with the elderly, substance abuse, mental health, mental retardation, residential care or health services. These paraprofessionals work under the direction of professionals from a variety of fields, such as nursing, psychiatry, psychology, rehabilitation, education or social work.
The program culminates in a supervised field experience in a human services agency.
