Clarion University Small Business Development Center will present a workshop, “Bookkeeping and Tax Considerations,” Sept. 24 in Saint Marys, Sept. 26 in Kittanning, Oct. 1 in Punxsutawney and Oct. 3 in Franklin.
Taxes and bookkeeping will always be an important aspect of your business. Join Clarion University SBDC for an in-depth review of allowable business tax deductions, self-employment taxes, fixed assets and depreciation, the difference between an employee and a subconstractor, and a checklist of information to compile for your tax preparer. Tina Sabados and Richard Kirsch, from H&R Block, will discuss tax and bookkeeping issues for sole proprietors (Schedule C), partnerships, corporations and LLCs.
Each workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the following sites:
