“Putting kids first” has been the passion and life’s work of Dr. Patrick O’Toole, superintendent of the Upper St. Clair School District near Pittsburgh. A Clarion University alumnus, Dr. O’Toole provides leadership for a district that has consistently ranked among the top performing school districts in the state. He was chosen as 2012 Superintendent of the Year by the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators. He formerly served as superintendent of the South Butler County School District, principal of Shenango Area High School, and associate principal of Greenville High School.
Dr. O’Toole holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Clarion University and a master’s and doctorate of education from the University of Pittsburgh. Clarion University is proud to welcome Dr. O’Toole back for its Spring 2013 commencement ceremonies.
