In June of 2002, Pennsylvania passed legislation requiring students living in university owned housing to have the meningitis vaccine or sign an informed declination statement. Prior to moving into the residence halls all new students will be required to show written proof of having the meningitis vaccine or sign an informed declination statement.
The meningitis vaccine is available at the health center for a charge. Contact the health center by calling 814.393.2121 to schedule an appointment to be vaccinated.
