Dr. Angela Franks, Boston College, will present "How the Sexual Revolution Failed Women," at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 in Hart Chapel. Dr. Franks is the author of "Margaret Sanger's Eugenic Legacy: The Control of Female Fertility," and contributed a chapter to "Women, Sex, and the Church" (Pauline Books and Publications, 2010). Dr. Franks currently serves as director of theological programs at Saint John's Seminary Theological Institute. Her expertise in eugenics and sexual ethics has been called upon in giving legislative testimony in the context of bioethics. The talk is sponsored by Students for Life, Newman Club, Muslim Student Association, College Conservatives and College Republicans.
