The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting is a complete 120-credit hour bachelor’s degree offered completely online. Students in this program will obtain requisite conceptual knowledge and experience to become an accounting or business professional.
Students in this part-time program take six to nine credit hours per term. Students also attend during the winter and summer sessions. Online degree students have the same faculty, requirements and standards as our on-campus Accounting program.
Degree requirements include:
- 33 general education credits
- 30 lower division business core credits
- 18 upper division business core credits
- 24 credits in the Accounting major
- 15 free elective credits
- 120 total credit hours
The online BSBA also fulfills requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in Pennsylvania and several other states. Most states require 150-credit hours to obtain CPA licensure after passing the exam. For interested students, the Clarion part-time, online MBA will fulfill the 150-credit hour requirement for CPA licensure in Pennsylvania.
Clarion's program prepares students to understand the complex business environment and to pursue careers in professional accounting, business and industry, and government. Online BSBA graduates can qualify for corporate and government positions as well as several accounting certifications by completing this four-year program.
