The Clarion University Chamber Singers and Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Hank Alviani, will perform works by the three Bs -- Bach, Beethoven and Brahms -- on April 1 at 7 p.m. in the Marwick-Boyd Auditorium. The program will include Bach's motet Jesu, meine Freude, the Finale of Beethoven's only opera Fidelio and Brahms's Ein Deutsches Requiem -- all sung in German with a full symphony orchestra. Guest soloists will be baritone Daniel Teadt, voice instructor at Clarion, and soprano Mary Logan Hastings, professor of voice at Indiana University of Pennsylvana. Admission is free.
