The Department of Special Education and Rehabilitative Sciences
offers the following teacher certification programs:

Special Education/Early Childhood Education -
This program has dual teaching certificates @ 126 credits via 4 years.
(1) K - 8 Special Education and
(2) PreK - grade 4 Early Childhood Education. -
Integrated Middle Level with Special Education -
This program has dual degrees and dual teaching certificates @ 150 credits via 5 years.
(1) Bachelor's in Middle Level grades 4 - 8 and
(2) Masters in Special Education K - 8. -
Special Education Intervention Specialist -
This program has dual degrees and dual teaching certificates @ 150 credits via 5 years.
(1) Bachelor's in Special Education and a choice of certification in either K - 8 or grade 7 - 12;
(2) Masters in Reading K - 12 certification; and a mathematics endorsement which provides the credits to sit for the Math Praxis II certification test and then add this certificate.
