Nursing provides many employment opportunities. Our nursing programs provide the opportunity to start and/or continue your nursing career. The nursing faculty consists of experienced educators with expertise in many nursing specialties.

Venango College offers three nursing programs including an Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing.
The Clarion and Edinboro universities Master of Science in Nursing degree program has two concentrations: Family Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Educator. The didactic coursework is online; focused clinical and internship experiences are offered in local health care and educational agencies. Students must live within a two-hour drive of Edinboro University or Clarion University’s Clarion, Venango or Pittsburgh campuses.
Post-Master’s Certificate Programs
For individuals already holding a master's degree in nursing, options include a post-master's certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner, a second master's degree in the FNP concentration or a post-master's certificate as a nurse education. This certification is designed for nurse practitioners certified in another specialty area.
