Clarion Chamber Singers host benefit dinner to aid two

Clarion University Chamber Singers will host a benefit dinner at 5 p.m. Dec. 2 at Belles Lettres Club, Oil City.

The four-course dinner, prepared by Thai chef Nee Yenerall, will include choice of appetizer (pork dumpling or Thai chive dumpling), pumpkin soup, choice of main course (pineapple curry chicken, pineapple curry vegetarian, green curry pork or green curry vegetarian) and Thai iced tea ice cream for dessert.

A selection of wines from Laurel Mountain Vineyard will be available. A wine tasting will be offered at 4:30 p.m.

The Chamber Singers will provide music before dinner, between courses, and after dinner.

Cost is $25, and proceeds will benefit Oil City resident Jean Merwin, who is in need of a kidney transplant, and Clarion University student Erin Demich, who was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
