Clarion showing of ‘Ratatouille’ is free, open to community

March 22, 2016

Clarion French Club and Asian Student Integration Association will be showing Pixar’s “Ratatouille” at 7 p.m. March 29 in the Suites on Main theater.

The 2007 film follows the story of Remy, a mischievous French rat, as he tries to find his places in the culinary world. After joining forces with a young kitchen worker in a famous Parisian restaurant, he shows the city that while not everyone can be a good cook, a good cook can be anyone.

This classic Pixar production won an Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Animated Film of the Year in 2008. It is children-friendly, and families are especially encouraged to experience French culinary culture through this hilarious and fun-packed film.

The event is free and open to the public. Those in attendance will receive special recipe cards for Remy's signature dish. Contact Elisabeth Sauvage-Callaghan, professor of modern languages, with additional questions at esauvage@clarion.edu.
