Take Back the Night brings awareness to sexual assault, domestic violence

Clarion University invites the community to its annual “Take Back the Night” event at 7 p.m. Oct. 13 in Gemmell multi-purpose room. The event, which brings awareness of sexual assault and domestic violence, will also include a candlelight vigil and march around campus.

Representatives of SAFE and PASSAGES, along with members of the Clarion University community will speak. Those attending are also invited to share their stories.

Take Back the Night is sponsored by Clarion VDay Project, a group dedicated to stopping violence, specifically sexual, against men and women.
