Clarion University VDay project and the Women and Gender Studies program will present “A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, and A Prayer: Writings to Stop Violence against Women and Girls” at 7 p.m. Feb. 20 and 21 and at 2 p.m. Feb. 21 in Hart Chapel. The show features adult language and subject matter.
"A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant, and a Prayer: Writings to Stop Violence against Women and Girls," will be Clarion's 15th V-Day fundraising production. This year's production works to answer the question, 'Why does domestic violence occur and how can it be stopped?'" said Zachery Hoffman, a student performer in the production.
The performance combines true and fictional stories. General admission is $8 and student admission is $5 with a valid ID. All proceeds will go to SAFE and Passages, Inc.
