Dr. Laurie S. Miller, assistant professor in the Clarion University Department of Communication, presented a paper, “More than a backpack: Equipping student journalists with tools to identify ethical dilemmas,” at the Ethics in Media and News Culture conference March 21-22 at Regent University in Virginia Beach.
The paper, which discusses the use of blogging as an educational tool to teach student journalists how to identify ethical issues and seek resolutions in the rapidly changing media landscape, will be published online in conference proceedings.
