Course Cycles

The Department of Information and Library Science is offering a small number of courses in the seven week format.

1st 7 weeks:

2nd 7 weeks:

LS 588:W1  

Please note LS 504:W03 is offered in the full semester format as well as LS 534:W02.  Students will be permitted  to take four total courses within the semester and a maximum of two seven week courses in each session.  Because this is experimental, we will be asking for your feedback at the end of the semester.

Course Cycle

The department's course cycle is a planning document. It allows students to plan their academic programs and allows the department to anticipate staffing needs. To see which courses are actually being offered in any specific term, it is necessary to consult the official course schedule for that term by visiting the Registrar's page. While the department makes every effort to conform to the course cycle, circumstances beyond the department's control sometimes require deviations from the cycle.
