ech teacher candidateAre you interested in working with young children?  Obtaining an Early Childhood Education Minor will increase your knowledge and skills to work effectively with young children in any setting.  Coursework begins with a foundational course about child growth and development.  The next five courses cover topics such as appropriate strategies to support growth in all learning domains (cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional), create challenging and engaging environments, work effectively with families, and use positive guidance to teach prosocial skills.

Join us in the Fall 2020 semester by enrolling in ECH 141: Child Development and Learning.  You can choose:

ECH 141 C01 T/R 2:00-3:15pm
or
ECH 141 C02 M/W 2:00-3:15pm

As with every Education Degree Program, clearances are required.  You can find them listed at the Office of Field Services.
