The Clarion University Center for Career and Professional Development and PA CareerLink invite you to promote your career opportunities at the Job and Community Resources Fair, April 13, 2016, at Clarion University.

This event will be open to community job seekers, veterans and Clarion University students and alumni who are searching for jobs, internships and other career experiences with a special focus on the recruitment of veterans.   Also, a resource fair for veterans will be held in the building at the same time.

Registration is open to businesses, organizations, non-profit (501C3) agencies, and graduate schools which have full-time jobs, internships, summer jobs, part-time positions or graduate programs to connect with students and alumni who are seeking these experiences.

Registration Options
All registration options include morning beverage service, wireless internet access, one table and chairs, a listing in the printed directory that is distributed to students at the fair (if registration is received by March 28, 2016).
  • Clarion Area Chamber of Business and Industry Members (register through PA CareerLink at 814-223-1550)
    FEE: $25.00 for 2 recruiters (includes a lunch voucher for each) $10.00 for each additional recruiter
  • For-Profit & Corporate Registration 
    FEE: $50.00 for 2 recruiters (includes a lunch voucher for each)  $10.00 for each additional recruiter
  • Vendors 
    FEE: $50.00 for 2 recruiters (includes a lunch voucher for each) $10.00 for each additional recruiter
  • Non-Profits (501C3), Government, and Military Agency Registration
    FEE: Waived for unlimited recruiters. Does not include a lunch voucher.
  • Graduate Programs
    FEE: $50.00 for 2 recruiters (includes a lunch voucher for each) $10.00 for each additional recruiter
Registration Deadlines
The deadline is March 28, 2016 for inclusion in the hard copy directory that is distributed at the event.

Clarion University Registrations:  Upon approval of your Career Connections online registration form,  a confirmation form/invoice page will be generated.  A confirmation letter with an invoice attached will also be sent to you by email.  We are not able to accept credit cards at this time. Please PRINT your invoice and include it with a check made payable to Clarion University prior to the event:

Refund
A full refund of the registration fee will be made if a written cancellation is received two weeks prior to the event. Partial refunds are available before the event.  No refunds are available after the event.
 
Sponsorships, Support and Advertising Information
Increase your visibility with career fair attendees by becoming an event sponsor or supporter!  All sponsorships support career fairs, professional development, and job search services provided by the Center for Career and Professional Development.
  • Gold Sponsor: $250.00
  • Silver Sponsor: $150.00
  • Event Supporter: Donate a product (i.e. pens, bags) or door prize for event participants that will be drawn after the event.

Facilities
  • This event is located in the Multi-Purpose Room on the second floor of the Gemmell Student Center.
  • Student volunteers may be available to assist you with transporting your materials to the event location.
  • One table, tablecloth and two chairs will be provided.
  • You may place a banner or display on or behind your table (6' x 3').
  • Signs are not permitted to be taped or tacked to walls.
  • Wireless Internet service is available. However, you must provide your own laptop.
  • A limited number of electrical outlets will be made available on a first-registered, first-served basis. 
  • Organizations must supply their own audio/visual equipment and extension cords.
Lunch/Refreshments 
Morning coffee service will be provided between 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.  The Golden Grill Food Court and Ritazza Coffee Shop are conveniently located on the first floor of the Gemmell Student Complex.  A lunch ticket valid between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. will be provided for up to two recruiters to fee-paying organizations upon check-in.  Recruiters are encouraged to stagger their lunch break so that each table has at least one representative is available to talk with students.  
 
Advertising
You can advertise your visit to campus in our weekly campus newspaper (distributed on Thursdays.) Contact The Clarion Call, Clarion University, 270 Gemmell, Clarion, PA 16214. Phone: 814-393-2380. E-mail: chief@clarioncallnews.com. In addition, you may advertise on our campus radio station, WCUC, 91.7 FM at 814-393-2330.

Parking and Unloading Materials
  • EMPLOYER PARKING: Employer Parking is in Commuter Lot 16.  A parking permit will be sent to you by email one week before the event. Print it and place it on your dash board.
    If you chose to park at a metered space, you will need to feed the meter. Parking tickets will be the responsibility of the recruiter.
  • UNLOADING MATERIALS: Student volunteers will be available between Gemmell Student Complex and Commuter Lot 16, Payne Street, Clarion, PA, 16214 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. to help recruiters transport materials to and from the venue.
  • If you choose to park on campus at a metered space along Wilson Avenue or on campus, you will need to feed the meter. Parking tickets will be the responsibility of the recruiter.
Shipping of Materials and Displays
We will accept shipments prior to the event. Include the name of your organization on the package so we can deliver it to your table on the day of the event. Mail items to:

Canceling
As a courtesy to those organizing the fair, please call the organization with which you registered should your organization/agency need to cancel your registration for this event.
