Awards

Each spring, Clarion University’s Reinhard Awards Ceremony is held to recognize the out-of-class accomplishments of students and registered student organizations.

Four individual awards are presented to members of the Greek community annually – Greek Man of the Year, Greek Woman of the Year, Panhellenic Council Outstanding Senior Award, and Interfraternity Council Outstanding Senior Award. Judging is based on a student’s contributions toward their own fraternity or sorority and toward the Greek community as a whole, as well as their service, leadership, and scholastic accomplishments.

The 2006-2007 academic year winners were:

  • Greek Man of the Year – Joshua Pierce, Tau Kappa Epsilon

  • Greek Woman of the Year – Ariel Weaver, Recruitment Councilor

  • PHC Outstanding Senior – Annie Bria, Delta Zeta; Kelsi Wilcox, Sigma Sigma Sigma

  • IFC Outstanding Senior – Seth Hampton, Phi Mu Alpha

In addition, the winners of the Greek Games are announced at the Reinhard Awards. The Greek Games are a year-long, friendly competition between fraternities and sororities, including events such as bowling, volleyball, academic bowl, dodgeball, softball, and the annual Greek Sing performance.
