CLARION CAMPUS

On the Clarion Campus, Department of Counseling Services hours are 8:30 am to 12:00 noon, and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. If you or a friend need assistance after these hours, please use the following resources.

If you or the person needing assistance live in a residence hall please contact the following:

  • Resident Assistant (RA). In a residence hall, contact your RA, or the RA or Graduate Student Advisor on duty for help.
  • Resident Director (RD). In a residence hall, your RD is also available to help.

If you live off campus or residence hall staff members are not available, please contact the following:

  • Local Mental Health Crisis line: 1-800-253-4906. A mental health professional is available for free confidential consultation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Clarion County Crisis Intervention Services: 226-7223.
  • 911. If you have a life threatening emergency, please call 911.

 

VENANGO CAMPUS

On the Venango Campus, if you or a friend need assistance, and a counselor is not available, please use the following resources:

  • Mental Health Crisis line: 1-800-253-4906. A mental health professional is available for free confidential consultation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • 911. If you have a life threatening emergency, please call 911.
  • Go to the Northwest Medical Center Emergency Room. This service is free with your Venango Campus student ID.
