Graduate Survey Results

Overview

There is strong interest in the career pursuits of Clarion University graduates:

  • Prospective students, current students, and parents want to know the spectrum of career options for graduates of the academic programs.
  • Faculty and administrators want outcomes information on graduates during the program review process.
  • The Career Services Center staff and other campus personnel want Clarion-specific information that can be used in career discussions with students.

Clarion University conducts an annual survey of graduates from the previous year to obtain information regarding their post-graduation employment and educational activities.  Information is collected through an online survey and telephone follow-up.  The reports listed below provide collective information for each academic program.

Use of the Reports

  • Using the Reports in Major/Career Choice.  Although the reports can be helpful in providing information about the career paths that Clarion graduates from each major are taking, the Career Services staff encourages students to read "Before Choosing Your Career Direction" for information to consider before making major and career decisions.
  • Interpreting the Data.  The results represent only the graduates responding to the graduate survey.  We recommend that you use caution in interpreting the data when the response rate is low.
