DRIVE

What is DRIVE? Glad you asked! DRIVE is a large scale collection effort to collect items (not money) for non-profit organizations in Clarion County to be distributed back to local community members in need. DRIVE is partnered with Together We CAN, a food and personal care item collection effort to benefit county-wide pantries. The timing of this food drive is essential as our local K-12 schools will be letting out for the summer and parents will go back to providing families three meals a day. All food items collected through Together We CAN and DRIVE will be distributed equally between 10 food banks across Clarion County.

Food items are not the only thing we collect through DRIVE. In the past we have collected items such as:

food collection portion of DRIVE
    • New or gently worn clothing (adult, children, or infant sizes are needed)
    • Eyeglasses
    • Pet food and supplies
    • Socks for soldiers
    • Books.

These items benefit organizations such as: Charitable Deeds, CYS, SAFE, Lion's Club, Clarion PAWS and Clarion PUPS, and the Clarion County Library System. Updates to the list will be promoted here and on Facebook as we have them.

DRIVE will be set up in the Farmer's National Bank Parking lot on 6th Avenue. Donations may be dropped off between 12:30 and 3:30 pm on April 23rd. All organizations must have their items picked up by 5 p.m. on the day of the event.

If your organization would like to have items collected for a specific cause, please fill out the application form below,  We would love to have you participate in DRIVE.
