Ballentine Hall is the smallest residence hall on campus, housing 116 men. It is named for John Ballentine, who taught and served as Acting President of Clarion State Normal School from 1887 to 1920. The small size of the hall makes it easy for residents to get acquainted. Ballentine residents participate in a variety of activities including, debates, picnics, and sports competitions; and gain leadership skills through hall government opportunities. Ballentine residents also have a strong academic focus.
