CLARION LOSES FOURTH STRAIGHT
BLOOMSBURG – Clarion suffered its fourth straight loss 72-61 at Bloomsburg Sunday afternoon.
Bloomsburg (4-3) used a 13-4 run to end the first half with a 33-22 lead, and Clarion was never within 10 the rest of the way.
My’Kea Cohill led the Golden Eagles (1-4) with 15 points, while Jessica Albanese finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. The rest of the starting lineup, though, produced just nine points including eight from Katrina Greer, who was 6 of 10 from the free-throw line.
Clarion shot alright from the field hitting 45.7 percent of its shots, but the Golden Eagles were just 1-for-13 (7.7 percent) from three-point range and 18 of 26 (69.2 percent) from the free-throw line.
Gabe Miskinis led five Bloomsburg players in double figures with 22 points, while Brinca Lee added 16 points and five rebounds off the bench.
