CLARION REMAINS NO. 2 IN NCAA EAST REGION
The Clarion University women’s basketball team remained No. 2 in the latest NCAA East Region poll released Feb. 9.
The poll is for games through Feb. 5 and does not include Clarion’s 69-58 loss to Shippensburg Monday.
The Golden Eagles (18-4 through Monday) remained behind Charleston (W.Va.) and in front of No. 3 Fairmont State.
It is the third consecutive week Clarion has been ranked No. 2.
The Golden Eagles return to action tonight (Wednesday) at Lock Haven.
