NCAA D-II Women’s Basketball
CLARION MOVES UP TO NO. 2 IN NCAA D-II EAST REGION RANKINGS
The Clarion University women’s basketball team moved up one spot to No. 2 in the NCAA Division II East Region Rankings released Jan. 26 for games through Jan. 23.
The Golden Eagles, who are 15-3 overall and 3-0 in the PSAC-West following Wednesday’s 87-51 win at Slippery Rock, are behind only defending national champion California, who is 15-3 following a 73-70 loss to Pitt-Johnstown Wednesday.
California visits Clarion in a key early season PSAC-West showdown at Saturday.
