CIGICH TOPS 1,000 CAREER POINTS

OCEAN CITY, MD – With a basket at 19:43 of the second half of Clarion’s 75-41 win over the Albany College of Pharmacy Dec. 28, junior Heather Cigich became the 12^th player in school history to eclipse the 1,000 career point mark.

Cigich’s basket, which was the first of the second half for the Golden Eagles giving them a 40-21 lead, came off a pass from Angela Phegley.

Cigich finished with a game-high 19 points to go along with seven rebounds and three steals while playing just 25 minutes in the lopsided affair. She now has 1,008 career points.

With the win, Clarion moves to 7-3 on the season. The Golden Eagles are next in action Jan. 3 at West Chester.
