RECENT CLARION-LOCK HAVEN SERIES HISTORY: Clarion has won seven straight against Lock Haven, although three of the last five games have been decided by eight points or less … The Golden Eagles are 18-12 all-time under head coach Gie Parsons, while Lock Haven coach Britt King is 0-2 vs. Clarion … In the early 1990’s the teams had some epic PSAC battles cumulating in the programs meeting four times during the 1990-91 season … Lock Haven won the two regular season games by scores of 93-83 and 86-74, but Clarion topped the Lady Eagles 87-71 to win it first-ever PSAC title and then toppled Lock Haven 77-70 in the Quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II Playoffs to earn the school’s first-ever trip to the “Elite Eighth”.

CLARION NOTES: The Golden Eagles are coming off a 1-1 week that included a road win at Slippery Rock Wednesday 71-54 and a road loss at IUP 83-65 Saturday … The Golden Eagles played both games without Shay Godwin, the No. 1 rebounder in the PSAC and the No. 2 scorer on the team … Despite not having Godwin to take the pressure off her inside, Heather Cigich still had a solid week averaging 22 ppg, 8.5 rpg and 3.0 spg … She recorded her 12th double-double of the season and the 40th of her career (in 70 games) with 24 points, 10 rebounds against Slippery Rock … In the IUP game, the Golden Eagles were hurt by foul trouble in the first half with both Cigich and Danielle Moseley having three fouls apiece in the half … After trailing by 18 points at halftime, the Golden Eagles played IUP even in the second half.

LOCK HAVEN NOTES: Cyndi Crowl is just 12 points shy of becoming the 11th player in school history to eclipse the 1,000 career point mark … The last Lady Eagle to reach 1,000 points was Becky Peter in 1999 … Lock Haven started the season 3-1 before losing 5-6 … It rebounded to win 3 of 4 but has now lost its last two … This is just the second road game for the Lady Eagles since Jan. 1.
