CLARION NOTES: The Golden Eagles are coming off a 1-1 week that included a road win at Slippery Rock Wednesday 71-54 and a road loss at IUP 83-65 Saturday The Golden Eagles played both games without Shay Godwin, the No. 1 rebounder in the PSAC and the No. 2 scorer on the team Despite not having Godwin to take the pressure off her inside, Heather Cigich still had a solid week averaging 22 ppg, 8.5 rpg and 3.0 spg She recorded her 12th double-double of the season and the 40th of her career (in 70 games) with 24 points, 10 rebounds against Slippery Rock In the IUP game, the Golden Eagles were hurt by foul trouble in the first half with both Cigich and Danielle Moseley having three fouls apiece in the half After trailing by 18 points at halftime, the Golden Eagles played IUP even in the second half.
