CLARION NOTES: Clarion comes into the games having lost four of its past five games including twice in overtime and twice by three points or less … Despite losing to California in their last game, the Golden Eagles had a very respectful performance against the No. 1 team in the nation. Clarion was just the third team this season to hold a lead on Cal at halftime and the 14-point margin was the third closest game the Vulcans played this year … Heather Cigich has 11 double-doubles this season and 39 in 68 career games … She is 6^th in school history in scoring (1,115) and sixth in school history in rebounding (698) … Teammate Shay Godwin is joining Cigich in the double-double club with eight this season, her first at Clarion … Clarion is trying to avoid it first 0-2 PSAC-West start since 2000-01.

SLIPPERY ROCK NOTES: Slippery Rock is coming off a 46-29 loss to Shippensburg. The Rock shot just 19.6% in the game (9 of 46) while turning the ball over 29 times and scoring nine second-half points … The 29 points were the fewest in Slippery Rock’s recorded history (1979-80) … Stacy Green is 24 rebounds shy of moving into fourth place in school history … Kristen Bonner has hit 15 straight free throws.
