GAME NOTES: This is a big game for both teams with Clarion holding a ˝ game lead on IUP for 3rd place in the PSAC-West, while the Golden Eagles trail Edinboro by a ˝ game for second place … IUP is 1 game up on Shippensburg for 4th place, which is the final PSAC Playoff spot … Clarion’s only three loses the past month have come twice to California, which is ranked No. 1 in the NCAA D-II East Region and to IUP in overtime in what was a controversial ending … Clarion’s Allison Stodart appeared to hit the game-winning three-pointer with .5 of a second left to put the Eagles up by two. But Clarion was called for a technical foul after IUP had inbounded the basketball and the clock had expired for rushing the court following Stodart’s basket. IUP hit both technical fouls shots forcing overtime, and the Indians prevailed in the extra session.
