Clarion University senior Allison Stodart (Madera/Moshannon Valley) made her last home game a special one by becoming the 11^th player in school history to reach 1,000 career points when she hit the mark in the Golden Eagles 69-55 win over Lock Haven Sunday at Tippin Gym.

Stodart reached the milestone with 10:11 left in the second half with a jumper that gave the Golden Eagles a 44-40 lead. Stodart, who finished the game with 16 points on 6 of 14 shooting and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line, now has 1,005 career points and ranks 10^th in school history in scoring. She is five points shy of moving into a ninth place tie with Lisa McAdoo.

This season Stodart is averaging 11.6 ppg (291 points in 25 games) and has hit a team-leading 54 three-pointer to go along with 2.5 rpg, 3.16 apg and 2.0 spg. She has helped Clarion to a 15-10 overall record and a 5-5 mark in the PSAC-West with two games remaining.

GOLDEN EAGLE NOTES: The 5-5 PSAC-West mark puts Clarion in a three-way tie for third place in the West with the top four teams making the playoffs ... The Golden Eagles are tied with Shippensburg and Edinboro ... Clarion is at Edinboro Wednesday and at Shippensburg Saturday ... A win in either of those two games would clinch a playoff spot for the second straight year for Clarion ... The 15 wins this season are the most for the Golden Eagles since the 1994-95 team went 18-11, and Clarion has guaranteed itself a winning season for the first time since the 1994-95 campaign.
