CLARION – Clarion University senior right-side hitter Sarah Fries (Willard, Ohio/Willard) recently became the eighth player in school history to record 1,000 career kills and now has 1,015 through Sept. 25.

Fries, who ranks eighth in school history in career kills, is the second Golden Eagle to surpass 1,000 career kills this season joining teammate Christina Steiner (5th, 1,108).
