BULL NAMED PSAC-WEST VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

            Clarion University senior Melanie Bull is the PSAC-West Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending with games Sept. 7.

            Bull helped the Golden Eagles to a 7-2 start. She has recorded 5.03 kills per game (156 total) and 3.84 digs per game (119 total) and has added 18 aces and 14 blocks. Her top performances came against Ashland when she recorded 26 kills and 15 digs, match in which she set the school record for career kills. She now has 1,498 career kills bettering the previous mark of 1,444 set by Jodi Pezek from 1987-90.

            Bull also holds the school record for career digs (1,596), single-season kills (548 in 2002) and single-season digs (602 in 2001).
