IUP DOWNS CLARION 3-0 IN PSAC-WEST MATCHUP

INDIANA -- Clarion University's women's volleyball team lost their first match of the season 3-0 at IUP Saturday evening.

 

The Golden Eagles (9-1 overall, 1-1 PSAC-West) lost 30-23, 30-21, 30-22 to the Indians (12-2, 1-1).

 

Melanie Bull led Clarion with seven kills and seven digs, while Sara Heyl had nine kills and five digs. Jackie Hill had 36 set assists.

 

Clarion is next in action Tuesday when the Golden Eagles open their home slate against PSAC-West rival Lock Haven. Match time is set for 7 p.m. at Tippin Gym.
