CLARION WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL MOVES TO 7-0

BRADFORD -- Clarion University's women's volleyball team stayed perfect on the young season going 2-0 at the Pitt-Bradford Tri-meet with Pitt-Bradford and St. John Fischer Saturday in Bradford.

 

The Golden Eagles (7-0) have yet to lose a game this season beating St. John Fischer 3-0 (30-,15, 30-18, 30-20) and Pitt-Bradford 3-0 (30-16, 30-15, 30-14).

 

Jackie Hill, the school's all-time set assist leader, set up Clarion's offense with 57 assists, while Beth Stalder had 15 kills. Melanie Bull added 17 kills and 18 digs and Laurie Helper (Cochranton/Cochranton) added 16 digs.

 

Clarion returns to action Thursday at Seton Hill.
