URBAN NAMED PSAC WOMEN’S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

            Holly Urban (Doyelstown/Central Bucks East), a junior on the Clarion University women’s indoor track and field team, is the PSAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 18.

            Urban ran the 800 meters at the Kent State Tune-up Meet in a time of 2:14.23 on her way to setting a school record. She established a new PSAC best this season with her efforts while also earning an NCAA provisional berth in the process with the 15^th best time in the nation in NCAA Division II this year.

            This is the second straight week Urban has been honored as the PSAC Track Athlete of the Week. Last week she was honored as part of Clarion’s Distance Medley Relay team.

            The Golden Eagles return to action Saturday and Sunday at the PSAC Indoor Championships at East Stroudsburg.
