DURIANCIK, BOERNER COMPETE AT BALDWIN-WALLACE

Clarion has two athletes compete at the Baldwin-Wallace Invitational Sunday (May 2).

            Senior David Duriancik (Vandergrift/Kiski Area) won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 9:32.39, while senior Jen Boerner (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home) took second in the 1,500 in a time of 4:55.59.

            Both athletes have qualified for the PSAC Track and Field Championships being held May 13-15 at Slippery Rock. Duriancik has earned a spot in the steeplechase, while Boerner has earned spots in the 800, 1,500 and 3,000.
