AMY ROBERTSON EARNS PSAC-WEST AWARD

 

            Clarion University Women’s Tennis player Amy Robertson (Jr. York/West York), was named PSAC-West “Player of the Week” today.

Robertson helped Clarion to a 2-0 week as the Golden Eagles downed Geneva 9-0 and St. Vincent 5-4. 

Robertson teamed with Lisa Baumgartner won both doubles matches, and claimed 6-0, 6-4 and 6-1, 6-2 wins in singles play.  She improved her singles mark to 5-1 for 2007.   Robertson now has a career singles mark of 22-15 and a 38-11 doubles mark.

            Clarion is currently 10-5 overall, 5-2 in the spring and 0-1 in the PSAC-West. The Golden Eagles will next be in action when  they host Slippery Rock at Campbell Courts on April 10^th at 1pm.
