Clarion vs. St. Michael’s

Clarion 7 – St. Michael’s 2

            Hilton Head, SC- Clarion logged its second consecutive victory on their spring break trip by defeating St. Michaels 7-2.  Clarion got excellent play in doubles as all three teams recorded wins.

            “Our doubles teams are really beginning to play well together,” Head Coach Lori Sabatose said. “They are all complimenting each others games well.”

            Clarion had just as good success in singles winning four out of the six matches.  Recording wins at singles were Corin Rombach, Kristen Jack, Amy Robertson, and Megan Robertson.

            “Corin is on a roll right now with her game.” Sabatose said. “The team is overall playing great tennis and we are expecting this success to continue.”

            Clarion is now 7-3 on the year and 2-0 in Spring competition and will play again on Wednesday vs. Tiffin and Thursday vs. Macalester to round out their trip.
