Clarion vs. Nebraska Wesleyan

Clarion 5 - Nebraska Wesleyan 4

Hilton Head, SC-  Clarion started their 2007 spring campaign by notching a 5-4 match victory over Nebraska Wesleyan in Hilton Head, South Carolina.  In doubles, Clarion got big wins at #1 and #2 doubles.  At #1 doubles, Corin Rombach and Kristen Jack defeated Mikayla Albin and Lauren Pfister 8-4. At #2 doubles, Amy Robertson and Lisa Baumgartner defeated Mikaela Caudill and Becca Brown 9-7.

            In singles, Clarion got wins from Rombach, Baumgartner and Megan Robertson.  Robertson’s victory proved to be the overall team win decider, when she defeated Becca Brown 6-0, 6-1.  Clarion is now 6-3 on the year and will play again on Monday vs. St. Michaels.
