CLARION WINS PROTEST/DEFEATS CAL 5-4

    PSAC Commissioner Steve Murray ruled favorably today on a protest filed by Clarion Women's Tennis Coach Lori Sabatose, that Cal had illegally moved a lineup player down from #5 singles to #6 singles to gain an advantage.

    Clarion had originally lost the dual meet at California 5-4 last Friday, April 16th, losing the #6 singles match which was in dispute. The PSAC ruled that Cal will now forfeit the #6 singles match to Clarion, thus reversing the final result to a Clarion win 5-4.
