JAMIE WOLF NAMED CLARION FEMALE “ATHLETE OF THE YEAR”
(Clarion, Pa.): Clarion University Senior diver Jamie Wolf (South Park) was recently named the “Female Athlete of the Year” by Clarion Athletic Director Dave Katis.
Wolf, the most prolific diver in NCAA Division II history, won 7 of 8 NCAA D-II Championships during her Clarion career. In 2007 Wolf won the 1 meter event setting a new D-II record with 453.75 points. She also won the 3 meter event by 70 points.
Jamie won the 1 and 3 meter NCAA titles in 2004 and 2005, won the 3 meter in 2006 and placed second on 1 meter, then won both titles again this year. She was named the NCAA Division II “Female Diver of the Year” 3-times (2004, 05 and 07), Clarion University’s “Female Athlete of the Year” three times (2005, 06, 07) and also to the PSAC’s Winter Academic Top 10 three times (2005, 06 ,07).
Also an outstanding student-athlete, Wolf graduated from Clarion in May with a 4.0 QPA in Molecular Biology and is the daughter of Patrick and Patricia Wolf of South Park.
