- Clarion leads the all-time series against Cleveland
State 23-10 with the first game played in 1938-39
But Cleveland State has
owned recent history
Clarion last played the Vikings in 1988-89 losing
93-47, although the game was later awarded to Clarion by virtue of a forfeit.
The Golden Eagles also lost to the Vikings 88-44 in 1987-88, 135-61 in
1986-87, 105-64 in 1985-86 and 105-65 in 1984-85.

held three straight opponents to under 50 points
Over the past two seasons,
the Golden Eagles have limited seven opponents to fewer than 50 points and 14
to fewer than 60 points.
- The Golden Eagles have won three straight since losing
the second game of the season 97-73 to Alderson-Broaddus
Since then Clarion
has knocked off Ohio U.-Zanesville 116-43, Penn State-Altoona 92-47 and
Mercyhurst.
- This is the third straight season Clarion has started

- Clarion has qualified for the PSAC Playoffs in eight
straight years, the longest active streak in the PSAC-West and tied with West
Chester for the longest active streak in the PSAC
The Golden Eagles are
154-73 (.678) since the start of the 1996-97 season and have won two PSAC-West
titles (1996-97 & 1999-2000) and one PSAC title (2000-01) while qualifying for
the NCAA Division II playoffs in 2000-01.

his 17th season at Clarion

295-188 in now his 19th season of coaching (two at Wilkes) and
