EAGLES CONTROL OWN DESTINY IN WEST RACE With three games left, the Golden Eagles control their own destiny in the PSAC-West race … If Clarion wins out it will win the West and gain the No. 1 seed from the PSAC-West in the PSAC Playoffs … That wouldn't be an easy task with the Golden Eagles finishing with three straight road games including tonight at Cal, Wednesday at Edinboro and next Saturday at IUP. CLARION LOOKS TO REBOUND ON THE ROAD Clarion is looking to turn thing around on the road … The Golden Eagles are 4-7 away from Tippin Gym (including 1-1 at neutral site) this season after dropping its final five road contest last year making them 4-12 away from home since midway through last season. CHURCH & BUCHANNAN COMING OFF CAREER GAMES Clarion got great performances from Lee Church and Chris Buchannan in the win over Slippery Rock Wednesday … Church had career highs in points (13) and assists (11) while getting four rebounds and three steals … Buchannan added a career-high 19 points to go with 10 rebounds and four steals … Clarion had all five starters in double figures in the game. |
