RECENT CLARION-LHU SERIES HISTORY: Clarion has lost two straight at Thomas Field House with the 2000-01 loss at Lock Haven breaking an 8-game winning streak vs. the Bald Eagles for Clarion … Clarion head coach Dr. Ron Righter is 19-9 all-time vs. Lock Haven, while Lock Haven head coach John Wilson Jr. is 2-4 in his three seasons vs. Clarion.

GAME NOTES: Clarion saw its 5-game win streak halted Monday by a very talented Pitt-Bradford squad … The Panthers entered the game at 13-2 and were coming off a 2001 campaign that saw them qualify for the NCAA Division III playoffs … Clarion went cold from the field in the game hitting just 20.7% of its shots in the second half including just 3 of 22 shots (13.6%) from inside the three-point arc in the half … But despite the loss, Clarion is still been very good in 2003 going 7-2 since Jan. 1 with the other loss being an overtime decision at Cheyney (84-79) … Clarion uses a balanced attack that features five players in double figures … Rollie Smith (20.9 ppg), Dereck Rankin (11.6 ppg), Terrance Vaughns (10.8 ppg), Shamar Green (10.3 ppg) & Chris Kelley (10.3 ppg) … The 6-2 Kelley is Clarion’s leading rebounder averaging 8.8 rpg good for fourth in the PSAC , while Smith is third in the PSAC in scoring … Lock Haven’s George Bailey is 9th in the conference in scoring (17.4 ppg), 10th in rebounding (7.4 rpg) and 2nd in blocked shots (3.56 bpg).
